You may have noticed these new slick TV ads showing the positive things going on in America. We kind of like the feel good ads, but Democrats are right that this is an inappropriate use of federal dollars – as much as $20 million so far.

Here’s one of them:

First, the ads come across as overtly pro-Trump at a time when an election is coming up in a month. Second, this should be paid for by the RNC or private groups, not taxpayers. And third, a government that is running a $40 trillion debt should be watching its Ps and Qs.

Bravo to Senate majority leader John Thune for calling on the White House to cease and desist.
