Throughout the COVID nightmare of 2020 and 21, the media and the left-leaning medical industry were bombarding the public with highly questionable medical advice and directives.  We now know much of what the government was telling us about COVID was flat out wrong and bad for your health. Yet the speech police were punishing Americans and news agencies for daring to challenge the government’s dictates.

So we’re pleased to announce that the Trump Administration and our friends at the New Civil Liberties Alliance have negotiated a historic settlement to a First Amendment case against the Biden White House’s censorship of criticism of government COVID policy techniques. (There was no group that was more skeptical of lockdowns and school closures than UP.)

One enduring lesson of the nightmare of COVID is: yes, always have a healthy dose of skepticism of government dictates, and never trust what the government declares as “settled science.”
