Not long ago we received an email at the HOTLINE from one of our loyal readers. It read:
“Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much I enjoy the work and effort you put forth to produce such outstanding information that you send out each day. Thank you from an appreciative reader.”
That “appreciative reader” was Coach Lou Holtz, who died yesterday at the age of 89.
Lou won the college football national championship at Notre Dame in 1988.
He was a major supporter of Donald Trump and was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom for his inspiration to so many young people – turning boys into men – over the decades.
