Here’s a good reason to take some pride in America: our country minted 1200 new millionaires every day last year, thanks to the booming stock market. That’s 440,000 new millionaires in one year.

The same report from UBS finds that average wealth per adult in the US is now just under $700,000, more than double the figure for Western Europe.
