California has massive offshore oil and gas deposits that could and should easily be drilled without harming the coastline. These are some of the largest untapped oil/gas deposits in the world.
Then they wonder why they’re paying $6 a gallon at the pump.
New York sits on a huge amount of Marcellus gas. But its leaders have banned fracking to keep it from being produced. They aren’t saving the planet, just making the natural gas boom in Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania stop at their border.
Pennsylvania’s rigs are right on the NY border so the drillers suck out the oil from underneath New York. Isn’t horizontal drilling a beautiful thing?
