| 1) Why Work? Donald Trump has agreed to sign the preposterous $900 billion stimulus bill and the $1.4 trillion Jimmy Dean pork-filled appropriations bill. He had no other choice, though we are pleased that he highlighted the preposterous extraneous spending provisions in the 5,500 page bill. Our view is very straightforward: the heroes of the American economy over the last ten months have been the front-line workers in hospitals, nursing homes, doctors, grocery store clerks, construction workers, cops, truck drivers, farmers, delivery people, and so on. THE PEOPLE THAT ARE WORKING. They are the ones who should be rewarded. Instead, we’ve handed out unemployment benefits of $600 a week and now $300 a week that pay most people more money for not working than the heroes who are working. And Washington calls this a stimulus? We have sent thousands of dollars of free money to people, whether they work or not – and more mana from heaven is coming with this new bill. We are increasing food stamp benefits; we are providing rental assistance, student loan forgiveness, etc. Of course, Biden and his welfare state pimps will be loading up the helicopters with more free money – especially with Trump upping the ante to $2,000 per person. Welcome to the new liberal utopia: everyone is dependent on the government. And no one has to work. A new report says China will overtake the U.S. economy by 2028.
