Bloomberg News reports that the average U.S. household will have to spend an extra $5,200 this year ($433 per month) compared to last year for the same basket of goods. We actually believe this number is TOO high, and is probably closer to $3,000 to $4,000 per household. When prices rise, people buy less of things with higher prices. The bean counters at Bloomberg didn’t take into account this “substitution effect.” But still, Bidenflation is a killer for average families.
