The price of oil is now hovering right at $100 a barrel. So let’s do some math. We are down more than one million barrels of oil production A DAY thanks to Biden anti-fossil fuels policies. We are now IMPORTING almost 75,000 barrels a day from Russia. This means the Biden War on American Energy is costing the US of A almost $100 million of lost GDP every DAY and almost $50 billion a year. We are handing Putin nearly $10 million a day, which is helping finance his war machine.
But there is no retreat from the White House on its looney-tunes strategy to change the temperature of the planet.
ABC’s “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos pointed out to Press Secretary Jen Psaki that many Republicans were calling for the U.S. to lift restrictions on oil drilling on federal land and for the Keystone Pipeline to be reopened.
Psaki, almost visibly reading from the White House cue cards dismissively responded that Republican calls to increase domestic production are “a misdiagnosis of what needs to happen…. President Biden’s view is that we need to reduce our dependence on foreign oil, on oil in general … and we need to look at other ways of having energy in our country and others.”
That OTHER way to get energy is to import it from Russia and OPEC. Brilliant!
