The latest Reuters poll on voter sentiment shows that voters prefer Democrats over Republicans on economy for first time in a decade.

The poll says: “Americans picked Democrats over Republicans as better stewards of the economy for the first time in nearly a decade in a Reuters/Ipsos ‌poll, which also found their approval of President Donald Trump’s performance falling to 35%.”

So we have a record high stock market, record high after tax family incomes, the lowest crime rates in 50 years, the lowest number of Americans laid off from their jobs in half-a-century, the biggest investment boom in 40 years, and a Democratic party floating around in outer space on the economy and yet voters narrowly prefer the crazies.

This poll reminds us of the classic spoof on the Bush-Dukakis presidential debate aired on Saturday Night Live back in 1988, when Bush babbles something incomprehensible on the economy and Dukakis reply is: “I can’t believe I’m losing to this guy.”
