Gas prices are now running at about $4.10 a gallon nationally, and would be well below $4 if it weren’t for the Blue states like California where prices rise above $5 a gallon.

Look at the average price of gas under recent presidents. The nationwide gas price in today’s dollars is lower in both Trump terms than under Obama and Biden.

Producing as much oil and gas here at home (remember Biden declared war on fossil fuels) is the best way in the long run to keep energy prices low.
