David Brooks, who once wrote for the WSJ and just finished a 22-year-run as a New York Times columnist now writes for The Atlantic magazine. (He keeps getting demoted!)
Now he admits what we’ve been saying for several years that the left-bias of the media is now almost reflexive, partly because the media pals around with the very people they are covering.
Brooks told PBS last week:
“In many of the places I’ve been to, there’s no distance anymore. And that is the problem for the media. We have to establish some distance from the Democratic Party. These are people we cover, these should not be people we root for. We’re not supposed to be spin doctors for them.”
Ah, but they do every day, while they root against Trump every hour of every day.
