President Trump continues to use a plunger to reduce the near three million person civilian workforce. It’s about time.

We’ve updated our chart showing there are now roughly 345,000 fewer federal employees than when Trump’s second term started. This is one of the largest downsizings of the federal workforce since the end of World War II.

Meanwhile, the April jobs report now indicates roughly 717,000 more private-sector jobs were added.

This is a welcome reversal from what we saw under Biden, who ADDED 116,000 federal bureaucrats – many at the nefarious IRS.
