| Congress just gave the IRS $12,600,000,000 billion to collect taxes and process tens of millions of tax returns. The agency has over 100,000 employees. And the White House is now saying the agency is way UNDER-staffed and has way too few dollars. Recall that Biden wants to hire 85,000 new IRS auditors.
But there’s a good reason conservatives should NEVER agree to more money for the IRS. The IRS is one of the most left-leaning workforces in the federal government, which is saying a lot. Almost 100% of the union money of Treasury Department political dollars goes to Democrats. Lois Lerner, one of the Obama appointees in charge of enforcement weaponized the IRS to target conservatives and Republican donors. She was never even punished for her crimes. Here’s one way the IRS could process more returns with existing dollars. Stop allowing the IRS employees to do union work on the taxpayers’ dime.
