Milestone: More Students Now Go to Full-Time Schools than Online-Only

1) Milestone: More Students Now Go to Full-Time Schools than Online-Only

Well, this only took 10 months, but about 40% of public school students in America are now being offered full-time instruction, more than the 35% forced to be online-only. The rest are in a part-time hybrid plan. This is a victory of sorts – but still a complete national disgrace and a black eye for every teacher union in America.

According to the tracker from Burbio, this week:% US K-12 students attending “virtual-only” schools = 35.2% (from 38.2% last week)
% US K-12 students attending “traditional” in-person/every day schools = 39.7%
% US K-12 students attending “hybrid” schools = 25.1%

This map shows where schools are open by state. The index is the percentage of students in schools that are open full time (full weight) or part-time hybrid (half weight).

We can’t help but notice it resembles an election map more than a map of virus cases or deaths. Red states have school, blue states generally don’t. Remember this when your liberal friends tell you how much they care about kids.

Meanwhile, Biden is issuing new “guidance” requirements for reopening schools, which presumably apply to schools that are currently open — many of them since July — without any problems. Does he want those schools closed until his union-giveaway demands are met?
